Welcome to the wonderful world of Golden Retrievers! Possibly one of the smartest animals I ever met. This is how we got here...

15 years ago my then 5 year old daughter developed seizures, not a few not little ones, the terrifying kind that medication was not controling. So I went searching for service animals, organizations that train or provide these animals. Now 15 years ago the best I could find was 30k for the dog, plus housing in south Florida for 6 months of training at 2k a week, and the best part? They could take the dog back it didn't actually belong to you. Not being independently wealthy I had to figure something out. 

In comes Laddy, a purebred trained Golden being rescued (sad but true) and we gave him a chance. This amazing canine knew when she was going to seize, knew to get an adult quickly, even laid with her until the confusion passed. Sadly, Laddy later died of a grande mal seizure on Thanksgiving. But he made his point.

These Goldens we currently offer are the offspring of carefully selected, fully genetic tested, service line we have created. These are not random AKC kennel dogs bred for profit, they live in our home, sleep in our beds and several from each litter are placed in service homes. When filling out the questionare please be very transparent as I will always want to know how every puppy is doing and I am always available for concerns, questions, anything you need. To this day I still know each puppy by name.
